WWE vs TNA

In light of Smackdown vs RAW 2009, why not a confrontation between WWE and TNA? There are a lot of similar traits in the way the companies build their characters. Who do you think would win a match between TNA wrestlers and their WWE counterparts?

- Sting vs Undertaker: both are legendary icons in their companies, with a similar dark, mysterious entrance

- AJ Styles vs John Cena: the young champions considered the flagships of their respective companies.

- Beer Money Inc. vs Miz & Morrison: young, brass, arrogant but bright and very talented tag teams, both are currently having tag team golds.

- Abyss vs Kane: 2 big red monsters who love violence and destruction

- Awesome Kong vs Beth Phoenix: the 2 most dominant powerhouses in the women's division, both champions.

- Matt Morgan vs Batista: I think TNA is trying to build up Matt Morgan as another Batista, face powerhouses with perfect body types.

- Kurt Angle vs Triple H: the most valuables commodities, considered the measuring sticks in their companies.

- Christy Hemme vs Maria: an old feud of the Playboy cover girls, both participated in the first WWE Diva search in 2004 (better yet, how about a triple threat match including Candice Michelle?)

- Taylor Wilde vs Mickie James: former women champs who had long journeys to the gold.

- Booker T vs Chris Jericho: former, highly accomplished champs

- Angelina Love vs Melina: flashy A-listers

- Team 3D vs Hardy Boyz: talking about life-long prestigious tag teams, there can hardly be a better bond than that between the brothers.

- Samoa Joe vs Umaga: battle of the Samoan powerhouses.

- LAX vs Cryme Tyme: tag teams that combined speed and power with similar aerial tactics

The list can go on, but these are the probably the most apparent comparisons. Still trying to find correlations for the Machine Guns (maybe Mysterio and Evan Bourne?), Kevin Nash (Ric Flair would be perfect if he's still around), Eric Young, Black Machismo and other big names like Jeff Jarrett, Rhino, Orton, Edge, CM Punk, JBL, Shawn Michaels, if there's any. Let me know if you have other thoughts and suggestions.
