In my opinion the match fo the year was Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels, because for once WWE managed to inject so much emotion and psychology into one match without a title being on the line. That may not seem hard to do seeing as it was Flairs last match, but the two of them really did go all out and put on a fantastic match. The match itself really told the story and both HBK and Flair told a story in that match that will be difficult for any match to surpass.

I liked the Ladder match between HBK and Jericho at No Mercy...there were some great spots throughout the match and they both worked the match brilliantly together. The Lumberjack match between CM Punk and Randy Orton was pretty good as well, considering it was one of Orton's first matches after his injury.
