TNA: Main Event Mafia or The Originals?

Whose side are you on?

I gotta say that while the Originals are a lot more talented and put on better quality of match, I have to side with the MEM because they're coming across far better on-screen - a strong, united team. Meanwhile Samoa Joe and co are arguing and squabbling like little kids. I wonder if the creative team wants this feud to come across as the "parents" (MEM) smacking some manners into the kids?

Re: TNA: Main Event Mafia or The Originals?

got to agree with mehran1991. MEM are cool. I think kurt s really enjoying his time at TNA at the moment. You could see he loved that angle v abyss match and the whole MEM storyline. I don t think most of 'the originals' are quite there yet as wrestlers though I love MCMachineguns and AJ s good.

I reckon MCmachineguns will break up the originals and the MEM will end up feuding too with sting as face and angle as heel...

I love TNA. Its so much better than WWE both in the weekies and PPVs. The WWE management must be tearing their hair out. People were chanting 'this is boring' at one of the main events at survivior series while at turning point they were chanting 'this is awesome' and 'TNA' thoughout the show.

Re: TNA: Main Event Mafia or The Originals?

i disagree with you about the wwe thing. the originals make tna different. al the others we already saw at the wwe. like booker T kurt angle kevin nash sting. they've all been there. they are just making money out of the good job wich the originals are doing.

btw:cheekychap_000 are you dutch? you say things like heel and stuff so i thought maybe you are

Re: TNA: Main Event Mafia or The Originals?

heel's an american expression though i m english...

I think the difference between the wwe and tna is the way wrestlers wrestle plus the storylines. kurt angle in the wwe would of been stuck with predictable storylines given to him by v mcman and done more boring moves in the ring like over long submission moves that obviously don t hurt and mat grappling / counters. in tna the wrestlers seem to have more control of their mic spots and there are more complicatated interlinked storylines + they do more slams / somersults / dives + no one wrestler (apart from soman joe) is hyped that much so you don t always know whos going to win matches. wwe has wild storylines with big heros and bad guys that everyone is meant to forget after 6 months... didn t edge get sent to 'hell' a few months ago? wans t mickey james a lesbian diva stalker before? HHH an upper class snob? etc.

having said all that the wwe does have people like randy orton / edge / jericho etc which tna could only dream of getting and makes it worth watching..

Angle's running somersault off the stage onto Abyss at their last PPV match was spectacular (especially when you add the fact that Kurt's body is so injury-wracked he's supposedly in constant pain).

The Dudleys turning face and joining the Front Line was predictable but definitely the right way to go. They'd grown stale as heels and the Originals/Front Line now come off as a stronger force.

Now we just have to hope Nash is only allowed to wrestle when they find werewolves on the moon. It's embarassing watching him slowly stumble round the ring, sometimes risking lifting one arm when he thinks his knees can take it.

Re: TNA: Main Event Mafia or The Originals?

Got to agree with you there. loved team 3D joining the frontline. they havent had much in the way of big storylines recently and this is a good way to use them more.. '...get me a table! get me a table!..' That 4man tag team match is going to be great. Ray is pretty talented to be able to hold the attention with a 7minute mic spot too.

Lets hope Angle keeps that standard up. The whole Angle / Abyss match was awesome and the somersault was the most convincing high flying move i ve ever seen. Got to respect Abyss for being able to resist the natural urge to move away from something like that too and just take it.
