Triple H and HBK on the box... yet looking at their stats in the game they are not that great in it, they should have put the best wrestler from each of the 3 brands on it instead of yet again brown-nosing what they think if their biggest superstar.
Shocking thing, undertakers stats was at 95 overall or did i read that wrong? Shame they do not give him that much credit on smackdown, with the way big show has been slaping him about recently big show must have a 98-99 overall surely.
Also The Animal Batista, been pushed as pretty much unstopable recently on RAW, funny that his overall is so low, below Cena even who he put out of action not too long ago. Something is not right here... Will really be interesting to see some other wrestlers when the game is released.
And with Candice being a full 3 points below Beth Phoenix, is there going to be anyone in the game a little closer to be able to challenge or is the title going to stay constantly with Beth in the game?
Enough about the wrestlers though, they do look great in the screenshots big improvment there from last year anyway, the thing worrying me most is the number of wrestlers in it, last years, sure for exhibitions there was an alright number of wrestlers (though a distinct lack of ECW) when you went into the career/story(whatever else it has been called over the years) there was a pathetic collection of wrestlers for selection, yes it was nice to have the voices, but if it means we have such a linear path through having no choice to what you do in the game, only being one title in it depending on the brand you choose to be in.
What happened to the days when you could create a superstar or just pick from any one in the game and enter a varied career mode where you could decide to go for any title belt including tag team titles, where you decided if you wanted to form a faction, if you wanted to go to england for a show, where you could hire a female manager to get yourself even more matches?
I hope to see some of that stuff back again this year, if it is just going to be like last years again except with the ability to select a tag team instead of just a single wrestler then it will sadly be the last WWE game i buy, until it comes out i will continue to play Smackdown - here comes the pain, as my SVR - 2008 occupies its rightful place in my bin.
