ECW OPENER:

ECW on Sci Fi for October 30th opened with a "Halloween" video hyping the Monster Mash Battle Royale later tonight. The ECW entranceway is also done up in a Halloween style. They announced that Miz and John Morrison would be wrestling later tonight to determine the number one contender to CM Punk's ECW Title.

Elijah Burke vs. Jimmy Wang Yang.

Burke will be on Sci-Fi's live Ghost Hunters special tomorrow night. Yang, of course, is from Smackdown and is on ECW as part of the "talent agreement" between the brands. Burke got on the mic and cut a promo about how he can't stand "working class people" like Yang. Burke grabbed a side headlock at the start and hit a shoulderblock, but Yang came back with a lapfrog, back elbow and standing moonsault for a two count. Burke backdropped Yang to the apron and rammed him shoulder first into the ringpost, sending him to the floor. Burke rammed Yang into another post on the floor, then brought him into the ring and stomped him. Burke dropped a knee on Yang's arm and worked it over with a wristlock. Yang punched out of it, but Burke hit a knee to the gut and delivered a shoulderbreaker. Burke continued to work on the arm, but Yang fought back with shoulderblocks to the midsection, then a legsweep and a pair of clotheslines. Burke hit Yang with a boot to the chest and flipped over the top rope to the apron. Burke went to the top rope, but as he dove off, Yang caught him with a spinkick. Yang scored a two count, Yang rammed Burke into a corner and went for the top rope moonsault, but Burke sidestepped it. Yang landed on his feet, but Burke threw him shoulder first into the ringpost, then hit the Elijah Express (double running knee to the back) for the pin at the five minute mark.

Winner: Elijah Burke.

Kane did a promo about how he has been facing "monsters" his whole life, and that the Monster Mash Battle Royale, for him, was a "dream come true".

They recapped the "DX reformation" from Raw.

Backstage, Nunzio, dressed as Dracula, was escorting a group of trick or treaters backstage. They approached a skull carrying Balls Mahoney, who gave candy to the kids (and Nunzio). Next up was CM Punk, who also gave them candy. Nunzio noted Punk's lack of costume, and he said he was dressed as "The ECW World Champion" and noted he had a match tonight. Next up was the Boogeyman, and Nunzio ran off scared. The kids stood their ground .... and Boogeyman put handfuls of worms into their bags.

Nunzio (still in Dracula gear) vs. Tommy Dreamer (dressed as Paul Heyman).

This was a "Trick Or Treat Match, contested under Extreme Rules". There were pies, whipped cream, apples for bobbing in a metal tub, and other things spread around ringside. Nunzio tried a kick to the gut, but Dreamer had a pillow in his shirt to give himself a bigger gut, and it cushioned the blow. Nunzio hit some kicks to the leg, but Dreamer yanked Nunzio to the mat by the collar, then his a face buster. Nunzio knocked Dreamer to the floor, but missed a pescado. Dreamer hit Nunzio with a pumpkin. Dreamer sucked down some whipped cream, then put some on a pie and rammed it in Nunzio's face. Nunzio floated over a slam and rammed Dreamer into the ringpost. Nunzio used apples and whipped cream, but slipped on the floor when he went to use a pumpkin. Dreamer dunked Guido in the tub used to hold the bobbing apples, then dumped the tub on himself. Back in the ring, Dreamer pulled out a cell phone, then hit Nunzio with it. Dreamer put Nunzio in the tree of woe, put the metal tub in front of him, and hit a baseball slide dropkick, knocking it into Nunzio's face. Dreamer hit a DDT for the win at the four minute mark. For the whole match, Tazz and Joey Styles tried to figure out who Dreamer was dressed as, but could never "figure it out".

Winner: Tommy Dreamer.

A horror movie-style package was done on the Great Khali, talking about how he is a monster, and voiced over by a Boris Karloff-soundalike.

They aired a commercial putting over the return of DX and Stone Cold Steve Austin next week on Raw, calling it the "Event Of The Year".

They showed some fans in the crowd that had showed up in costume.

They recapped the Divas Battle Royale from last night, including Beth Phoenix beating up Kelly Kelly after the match.

John Morrison vs. The Miz - Winner to receive an ECW Title match next week.

Morrison rolled up Miz for a two count at the bell and shoved down Miz as he tried to grab an armlock. Miz went for a hammerlock, and Morrison went to the ropes for a break. Morrison tripped Miz, and Miz responded with a slap to the face, a drop toe hold and a kick to the gut. Miz hit some body punches, but Morrison hit a shoulderblock from the ring apron. Morrison tried to jump off the apron and pull Miz throat first across the top rope, but Miz blocked it. Morrison tripped Miz from the floor, but Miz kicked Morrison away. Miz got on the floor, and Morrison finally scored with a move, a flapjack on the security wall. Back in the ring, Morrison hit a few shots, but missed a springboard kick. Miz hit his jumping through the ropes clothesline for a two count, then a face plant. Miz went for the Reality Check, but Morrison rolled up Miz for a two count. Miz reversed into his own rollup for two, then hit a clothesline. Miz choked Morrison against the ropes. Miz backed off a bit, then when he went back towards Morrison, Morrison hit a kick to the gut, then his forward flip neckbreaker for the pin at the four minute mark.

Winner: John Morrison.

John Morrison had joined the announcers at ringside.

ECW Champion CM Punk vs. James Curtis.

They locked up, and Curtis grabbed a side headlock. Punk reversed and Curtis shoved him to the ropes. Punk hit a shoulderblock. Punk grabbed a headlock, but Curtis backed Punk in a corner and hit some shoulderblocks. Curtis whipped Punk across the ring and hit a clothesline. Curtis did another whip, but Punk dodged a reverse elbow. Punk hit a series of kicks to the head, a running knee in the corner, and a bulldog. Punk hit a springboard clothesline, then the GTS for the pin at the 1:30 mark.

Winner: CM Punk.

John Morrison was already in the ring as the count was finished and ambushed Punk from behind. Morrison laid out Punk with his forward flip neckbreaker. After they showed the replays, we saw Morrison in the aisle, staring at Punk who was holding his neck in the ring.

Monster Mash Battle Royale: Great Khali vs. Mark Henry vs. Big Daddy V vs. Kane.

Everyone seemed to agree to gang up on Kane to start the match, but Henry and BDV were soon disagreeing and began slugging each other while Khali worked over Kane in a corner. BDV and Henry ran into each other and both men went down from simultaneous clotheslines. Kane went for a chokeslam on Khali, but Khali shoved it away and hit a boot to the face. Henry actually lifted Khali, but BDV hit him. Lots of clubbering all around. BDV gave Kane the worst sidewalk slam ever. Khali and Henry went at it in one corner, while Kane and BDV fought in the other. BDV ended up avalanching Khali and Henry together in a corner, then went back to work on Kane. BDV missed an avalanche on Kane in a corner, and Kane hit a clothesline, then shoved BDV over the top rope to eliminate him.

Big Daddy V is eliminated.

Khali put Kane in the Vice Grip, but Henry hit him, so Khali put Henry in the vice grip. Henry and Kane pounded Khali, then sent him over the top rope with a double clothesline.

The Great Khali is eliminated.

Kane hit Henry with a forearm and tried to lift him for a slam, but couldn't do it. Henry it some punches, then ran into a Kane boot to the face. Kane went to the top rope, but jumped into Henry's bear hug. Henry then flung Kane over the top rope to eliminate him, and win the match, at the four minute mark.

Kane is eliminated.

Winner: Mark Henry.

Henry stood triumphant, and the announcers wished us a Happy Halloween to end the show.

Next Week: ECW Champion CM Punk vs. John Morrison (again).

ECW OPENER

10:00 – ECW opens with Kane making his way to the ring.

KANE vs. MARK HENRY

The bell rings and Kane immediately kicks Henry and tries to whip him into the corner but Henry doesn’t budge. Henry gets Kane on the ropes and punches him in the back. Kane elbows Henry and starts punching him. Kane uses the ropes to come at Henry but Henry catches him and slams him to the mat and goes for the cover. 2 count. Henry picks up Kane and slams him to the mat again. Henry gets Kane in the corner and starts to choke him. The ref breaks it up at the 3 count. Henry slams into Kane and starts hitting him in the head. Kane kicks Henry and punches him. Kane gets out of the corner and starts elbowing Henry. Henry gets Kane in the corner and runs at him, hitting him with a clothesline. Kane slaps Henry in the face and starts to punch him. Henry whips Kane into the corner and as he runs at him Kane nails him with the big boot. Kane climbs the ropes and dives off hitting Henry with a clothesline. Kane goes after Henry and gets him in the corner. Henry picks up Kane but Kane gets free and grabs Henry for the chokeslam but Henry gets out and takes Kane down with a clothesline. Henry gets out of the ring and gets a chair. The ref yells at Henry but Henry ignores him and nails Kane with the chair.

WINNER – KANE via disqualification

Henry picks up Kane and slams him down on the steel chair.

10:15 – Back from commercial break with Jamie Noble making his way to the ring.

JAMIE NOBLE vs. NUNZIO

The bell rings and the pair lock up, Noble twists Nunzio’s arm behind his back and Nunzio reverses. Noble whips Nunzio into the corner and runs at him but Nunzio takes him down. Noble takes Nunzio down with a power slam and goes for the cover. 2 count. Noble hits Nunzio in the back then slams him down on his knee and goes for the cover. 1 count. Noble gets Nunzio in a submission hold. Noble starts hitting Nunzio in the head. Noble hits Nunzio in the head with his elbow. Noble gets Nunzio in a headlock. Nunzio gets free and takes Noble down with a bulldog. Nunzio goes for the cover. 2 count. Nunzio grabs Noble by the head and climbs the ropes. Noble gets free and yanks Nunzio’s leg pulling him off the ropes. Noble slams Nunzio down on to the mat and hits Nunzio with a gut buster and goes for the cover.

WINNER – JAMIE NOBLE

A John Morrison promo is run regarding him going for the title.

10:26 – Back from commercial break with Layla in the ring.

LAYLA vs. KELLY KELLY

Miz starts babbling, “Kelly, I told you I would make your life miserable and I think I’m doing a good job at it. Last night I got you a match with Beth Phoenix and tonight you have Layla. Good luck sweetheart”

The bell rings and Layla takes Kelly down, stomping on her ankle.

Layla kicks Kelly down and grabs her by the hair, whipping her across the ring. Layla grabs Kelly’s leg and drags her.

Kelly kicks Layla away but Layla comes back and starts clawing at her. Layla goes for the cover.

WINNER – LAYLA

Balls Mahoney comes out to check on Kelly and to make sure Miz and Layla leave Kelly alone. Balls calls out Miz and Miz starts to get in the ring but Layla pulls Miz back.

10:36 – Back from commercial break with Tazz and Cole plugging Rey Mysterio’s DVD.

ELIJAH BURKE vs. SHANNON MOORE

The pair lock up and Burke gets Moore against the ropes. Moore reverses but Burke knocks him down. Moore punches Burke then grabs his head and slams him into the ringpost. Moore goes for the cover. 2 count. Burke gets to the corner and buys himself time but Moore comes over and grabs him to whip him into the corner but Burke reverses. Burke gets Moore on the ropes and slams his knee into his back. Burke runs at Moore and nails him and slides between the ropes. Burke goes after Moor in the corner but Moore punches his way out. Burke picks up Moore and gets him back into the corner then uses the ropes to slam himself down on Moore. Burke goes for the cover. 2 count. Burke picks up Moore and slams him headfirst into the ringpost. Burke then hits Moore with the Elijah Express and goes for the cover.

WINNER – ELIJAH BURKE

Tazz and Cole then discuss the passing of Lillian Ellison, known to all as “The Fabulous Moolah”. The world has lost a phenomenal female wrestler with her passing.

A nice video package was run remembering her.

May she rest in peace.

10:46 – Back from commercial break with Miz and Morrison talking.

Morrison states that the only thing Miz has proven around here is that he can manage a bunch of girls and he doesn’t even do that well.

Miz says that he’s not going to win against Punk tonight and his luck is about to run out.

They then run backstage footage of Randy Orton and William Regal talking, Orotn says “Regal, I’m thinking about it now more than ever. Michaels uses or attempts to use the Superkick at Survivor Series the match immediately stops and Michaels is DQ’d and never gets a chance again.”

“But..”

“But…if I intentionally get DQ’s or if it appears that I’m tring to do so, Sean Michaels wins the WWE Championship.”

“Consider it done” Regal says.

They then run down the card for Survivor Series.

Morrison makes his way to the ring.

10:59 – Back from commercial break with CM Punk making his way to the ring.

CM PUNK vs. JOHN MORRISON

The bell rings and Punk grabs Morrison. Morrison gets out and bounces off the ropes and takes down Punk. Punk takes Morrison down and goes for a quick cover. 1 count. Morrison tries to trip Punk into the ringpost but Punk catches himself. Punk goes to roll Morrison up for a cover but Morrison holds onto the ropes. Morrison goes for a cover but Punk kicks out immediately. Morrison sits on Punk and punches him repeatedly then goes for the cover again. 1 count. Morrison gets Punk in a submission hold. Morrison locks the hold in and knees Punk in his back several times. Punk gets to his feet and backs Morrison into the corner then flips Morrison over onto the mat. Punk kicks Morrison in the head then nails Morrison with a springboard kick and goes for the cover. 2 count. The men exchange punches and Punk kicks Morrison to the mat. Morrison gets up but Punk kicks him down again. Morrison kicks Punk and Punk catches Morrison and flips him to the mat going for the cover. 2 count. Punk holds Morrison and kicks him in the head. Punk takes Morrison down and goes for the cover as the Miz walks out. 2 count. Morrison jumps onto the ropes and goes for Punk and Punk moves. Punk picks up Morrison for the GTS but Punk stares at Miz. Morrison capitalizes and rolls Punk up for the cover. 2 count. Morrison picks up Punk and flips him over. Punk gets out and lands on his feet. Miz throws his hat at Morrison who glares and kicks it out of the ring. Punk capitalizes and rolls Morrison up for the pin.

WINNER – CM PUNK

Morrison glares hatefully at Miz.

ECW on Sci Fi for November 13th opened with the Hardys making their entrance.

Matt & Jeff Hardy vs. MVP & Mr. Kennedy.

The crowd chanted for the Hardys at the start, and Matt started off against Kennedy. They locked up, and Matt broke clean in a corner. Kennedy grabbed a headlock, but Hardy shoved it off, and Kennedy hit a shoulderblock for a one count. Kennedy hit a kick to the leg, but Matt grabbed an arm wringer. Matt tagged Jeff and threw Kennedy into a Jeff shoulderblock. Jeff hit a slingshot kick for a two count. Jeff kicked Kennedy in a corner and hit some punches. Kennedy reversed a whip and sent Jeff hard into a corner. Kennedy tagged MVP, who hit some shots in a corner, then nailed Jeff with a clothesline for a two count. MVP kicked Jeff in the back, then tagged in Kennedy. Jeff ducked a double clothesline and dropkicked both men from the ring. Matt came in and Jeff launched himself off of Matt's back over the top rope and into both MVP and Kennedy.

Jeff rolled Kennedy back into the ring for a two count. Matt tagged in for a double back elbow and a fistdrop/somersault splash combo on Kennedy for a two count. Matt hit Kennedy with a clothesline, but Kennedy shoved off a bulldog attempt and hit a clothesline of his own. Matt hit a punch and tagged Jeff, who went for a suplex, but Kennedy blocked it with a knee to the gut. He tagged in MVP, who kicked Jeff in the gut. Jeff fought back with kicks and punches, but MVP leapfrogged Jeff, hit a drop toe hold, then delivered a running kick to the head, knocking Jeff to the floor. MVP went out after him, but Matt came down at ringside, and MVP backed off, apparently not wanting to upset his championship tag partner, as they went to break.

Back from commercial, MVP was working over Jeff Hardy with an abdominal stretch on the mat. MVP switched to a surfboard, then threw Jeff to the mat by the hair when he started to fight up. Kennedy tagged in and kicked Jeff's back, then applied his own abdominal stretch. Jeff escaped with a hiptoss. Jeff tagged Matt, who tripped as he entered the ring, but still hit Kennedy with right hands and a back elbow. Matt slammed Kennedy, then delivered a second rope elbow to the back of the head. Matt hit Kennedy with the Side Effect, but Kennedy kicked out at two. Jeff tagged in and Jeff hit Poetry In Motion on Kennedy. Jeff went for the Swanton, but Kennedy rolled out of the way and covered Jeff for a two count. MVP tagged in and slammed Jeff. MVP dropped an elbow for a two count, then delivered a kneedrop to the back.

MVP applied the abdominal stretch on the mat, but Jeff powered out of it and hit a side Russian legsweep. MVP hit Jeff with a forearm and tagged Kennedy, who hit Jeff with a legdrop for a two count. MVP tagged back in and Kennedy held Jeff for a MVP shot to the gut. MVP missed a running kick to the corner, getting hung up on the top rope. MVP then went to suplex Jeff, but Jeff blocked it and hit a gourdbuster. Jeff hit MVP with a clothesline, but MVP backdropped Jeff to the ring apron. Kennedy, standing on that side of the ring, grabbed Jeff by the hair and yanked him off the apron, down hard to the floor. MVP went to the outside and rolled Jeff into the ring, then got the pin on an unconscious Jeff at the 15 minute mark.

Winners: MVP & Kennedy.

Post-match, Matt and MVP were arguing, and Kennedy came in with a steel chair, looking to blast Matt from behind. MVP blocked the shot and took the chair from Kennedy. MVP yelled that Matt was "his partner" and that Kennedy was just going to be his partner for Sunday. Kennedy and MVP argued a bit, but MVP still brandished the chair, and Kennedy walked off. MVP pointed out to Hardy that he protected him "again" because they were partners. MVP said "sorry about your brother" and walked off. Matt helped Jeff up, and the Hardys left.

They recapped Jamie Noble laying out CM Punk on Smackdown this past Friday after Punk had fought off The Miz and John Morrison.

Matt Striker was in the ring, and noted that Big Daddy V was not present, most likely due to the flu. Striker said that was a good reminder for everyone to be inoculated. Striker said that Big Daddy V would be at the Survivor Series and would dominate all of his opponents. Kane's music hit, and he came to the ring. Striker said he was not dressed to wrestle, and that Kane's issue was with Big Daddy V, not him. Striker said if Kane hurts him, it will just further anger Big Daddy V. Striker asked Kane to "just walk away". Kane gave Striker a boo to the face, a side slam, and then a choke slam. Kane's pyro went off as he stood over Striker.

Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly bounced down the hallway, as their match was next.

Michelle McCool & Kelly Kelly vs. Melina & Layla.

Michelle started off with Melina, trading reversals of an arm wringer. Melina elbowed out of a hammerlock, but Michelle hit a kick for a one count. Kelly tagged in and she and Michelle hit an ugly double suplex. Kelly pulled Melina out of a corner and went for a somersault cradle, but Melina kicked out. Melina threw Kelly down by the hair, then applied a headscissors and tagged in Layla. Layla threw Kelly down by the hair and kicked her hip. Layla choked Kelly on the middle rope, then tagged Melina. Melina put Kelly in a chinlock, but Kelly got out with a jawbreaker. Kelly went towards her corner, but Melina blocked it with a front facelock. Kelly hit a suplex, sort of, and tagged Michelle. Michelle hit Melina with a series of clotheslines and went for a cover. Layla came in and broke it up. Kelly speared Layla, sort of, and Layla rolled to the floor. Kelly kept Layla at bay on the floor. Melina missed a reverse bodyblock from the second rope on Michelle, and Michelle gave Melina a kick to the arm (yep, the arm) for the pin at the four minute mark.

Winners: Michelle McCool & Kelly Kelly.

The Miz joined Tazz and Joey Styles, and last week's "hat trick" by Miz during the John Morrison-CM Punk match was reviewed. Miz commented that he did that because he always "gets what he wants" and now he has gotten it, an ECW Title shot at Survivor Series.

The card for Survivor Series was reviewed.

ECW Champion CM Punk vs. Jamie Noble.

Miz noted he was scouting Punk for Survivor Series. As Noble made his entrance, the "Save Us... Break The Walls... Next Monday" viral video aired. The bell rang for Noble and Punk, but they were interrupted by John Morrison's music, who came out to ringside as they went to commercial.

Back from break, Noble had Punk in an arm wringer, but Punk rolled out of it. Morrison and Miz were now sitting next to each other with the announcers. Noble and Punk exchanged hold, with Noble grabbing a front facelock. Morrison said Miz pretty much argued and made fun of each other during the early moments of the match. Noble hit Punk with a chop, a headbutt and a punch. Punk came back with a chop and a dropkick to the back of the head for a one count. Punk hit a side backbreaker, but Noble came back with an elbow, then followed with a bodyslam and a legdrop. Noble went for a backdrop, but Punk grabbed him with a double underhook backbreaker for a two count. Punk rammed Noble into a corner but ran into a Noble knee. Noble came off the second rope with a kneedrop to Punk's arm as he held the top rope. Noble gave Punk a slam on his bad arm, then yanked on the limb. Noble put Punk in a hammerlock on the mat, then flipped over into a bridge. Noble hooked the other arm and pulled Punk into a backslide for a two count.

Noble dropped his weight on Punk's arm, and Punk fought back with punches and chops, but Noble dropped him with a cross armbreaker. Miz kept remarking how Morrison "lost to a hat" last week. Morrison kept bringing up that he beat Miz three weeks ago. Punk gave Noble a back suplex to escape an armlock, but Noble hit a shoulderblock and went to an armlock. Morrison admitted he lost to the hat, since he never would lose to CM Punk or the Miz. Then Morrison decided it wasn't the hat, he actually beat himself. Meanwhile, Punk rallied with a series of kicks and hit Noble with a powerslam for a two count. Punk hit the jumping knee in the corner, then delivered a bulldog. Punk went for a springboard clothesline, but Noble countered it by grabbing the arm and taking Punk to the mat with a Fujiwara armbar. Punk rolled through it and hit Noble with two kicks. Punk set up Noble for a top rope rana, but Noble rolled through it and got a two count. Punk rolled out and went for a GTS, but Noble floated over it and went for a Tiger Driver, but Punk reversed it and grabbed the GTS, this time hitting it for the win at the twelve minute mark.

Winner: CM Punk.

Miz and Morrison hit the ring. Miz gave Punk the Reality Check, then Morrison picked up Punk and gave him the somersault neckbreaker. Morrison and Miz stood over the downed Punk and began arguing with each other as the show ended.

They show a "Thanksgiving feast" set up at ringside, so perhaps we are getting a Nunzio vs Tommy Dreamer holiday rematch from Halloween?

ECW champion CM Punk made his way to the ring. They show the finish to the ECW title match at the Survivor Series PPV. That was a fun match.

ECW champion CM Punk vs. Kenny Dykstra

It's an OVW alumni classic. This could be really good. Punk snapmares Kenny over and kicks him in the back, then nails a legdrop for a near fall. Punk works over Kenny's arm. Punk goes for the GTS but Kenny escapes and nails a clothesline.

Kenny begins working over Punk with elbows and cinches in a rear chinlock, using his knee for leverage by placing it between Punk's shoulderblades. He manhandles Punk back to the mat when the ECW champion tries to escape and adds to the leverage by pulling back on Punk's neck. The crowd chants for Punk briefly as he escapes with a jawbreaker. Kenny takes over with a ton of aggression, laying in a series of punches before going back to the rear chinlock. Kenny is really working it hard, not just holding it like Randy Orton does. Punk tried to roll through but Kenny holds on.

Dykstra turns it into a side headlock. He drives Punk into the corner and plants him on the top turnbuckle. He goes for a suplerplex but Punk shoves him off. Punk nails a flying bodypress off the top for a two count. Punk nails a leg lariat for another two count. Punk hits a springboard clothesline into the ring for another near fall.

Punk hits the running knee in the corner but is shoved off and run shoulder-first into the ringpost when he attempted the bulldog. Dykstra goes to the top but Punk crotches him with a dropkick to the ankle. Punk nails him with GTS and scores the pin.

Good, solid match. The matwork was better than most you see in WWE these days. Dykstra was working like he had something to prove and looked good. These two mesh well together.

They aired footage of Kane laying out Matt Striker last week.

Elijah Burke came to the ring and said he was the man who led the charge to change ECW and would do so again. He said that he's invited one of the greatest athletes in WWE to come to ECW and raise the bar - Shelton Benjamin. I like this! Joey Styles and Tazz put over Benjamin as the newest member of the ECW roster and Charlie Haas is left in the cold. Again.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Shelton Benjamin

Dreamer was wearing a bright yellow "VH-1 Rock of Love" style bandanna. Benjamin nailed him with an inside trip and took right over on Dreamer. Benjamin worked over Dreamer with a series of fast elbow drops and yelled for him to get back up. Benjamin scored a number of quick two counts. Benjamin crimped the neck of Dreamer, who fought his way back to his feet. He choked Dreamer against the ropes. There was a small "Tommy Dreamer" chant. Benjamin scored another near fall.

Benjamin snapped Dreamer backwards into a backbreaker. Dreamer began fighting back with some Dusty Rhodes-style clubbering punches. He nailed Benjamin with a faceplant. Benjamin tried to nail a T-Bone suplex but Dreamer fought his way out. He went to the middle rope but was legsweeped off. Benjamin nailed a bulldog style DDT and scored the clean pin. It was designed to put over Benjamin all the way with very little for Dreamer.

Winner, Shelton Benjamin

We returned with Deuce and Domino in the ring with Cherry. WWE Tag Team champions John Morrison and The Miz came out to do commentary. Oh no, not again! Morrison gave Tazz a t-shirt but told Joey he didn't have one for him because they only come in "adult sizes." Jesse and Festus come to the ring, so it's a Smackdown tag match on ECW.

Jesse & Festus vs. Deuce & Domino

Jesse and Deuce started with Jesse getting a quick near fall with a schoolboy. He dropkicked Deuce in the knee, then nailed a punch. Domino tagged in but was armdragged over. Jesse missed a back splash senton. Miz and Morrison both claimed Cherry was checking them out. Neither seemed annoyed at losing at Survivor Series. Deuce worked over Jesse, who was unable to make the tag to Festus. Jesse fought his way to his feet but Domino blocked his punches and then drilled Jesse's face with a knee strike. Jesse finally got the tag on Festus, who destroyed Deuce and Domino. Morrison and Miz both agreed they needed to keep Festus out of the ring. They nailed the Rocket Launcher on Domino, Fantastics style, for the pin. OK tag match.

Winners, Jesse and Festus

Backstage, Matt Striker said that he warned Kane last week that if he laid a finger on him last week, he'd have to deal with Big Daddy V. He said tonight was about retribution and he was thankful for V. He said V would take out Kane tonight and prove he was the most dominant force in WWE.

They plugged we'd see footage of Layla El and Kelly Kelly getting into a fight last week after ECW went off the air.

They air a Survivor Series video package.

They announce The Cutting Edge will return to Smackdown Friday with WWE World champion Batista as the guest.

Kevin Thorn, sans his goth look, now tanned with spiked black hair and wearing a black singlet, came to the ring. Joey Styles and Tazz pointed out the new look.

Nunzio vs. Kevin Thorn

Thorn immediately laid out Nunzio, mounted him and rained punches down on Nunzio. He nailed Nunzio with a flapjack. He picked up Nunzio and used an over the shoulder backbreaker, before snapping Nunzio down to the mat. He picked up Nunzio and charged him into the corner, then nailed the Original Sin for the pin.

Winner, Kevin Thorn

We saw the backstage fight with the girls. There was lots of bad acting followed by a pair of stiff slaps. They then scuffled while pouring milk and sugar on each other. Much ado about nothing.

They show rock band Seether at ringside.

Layla El comes out and says she's thankful she's got a better body than Kelly Kelly. I am too. She says she's got a match with Kelly next week and will meet her again. Kelly comes out and puts a pie in her face. Food fight with the Divas time. It was completely hokey as they stood there allowing each other to pour things over each other. Tazz asked if there were any yams on the table. That cracked me up. They finally started cat fighting as two very lucky referees tried to break them up.

Raw Rebound pushing Chris Jericho's return. They did a hell of a job on that video feature.

Big Daddy V & Matt Striker vs. Kane

Striker and V attacked Kane as soon as the bell rang. Kane leveled Striker with a punch. Kane hit Striker with a big boot and went for a double chokeslam but V escaped and nailed a belly to belly suplex on Kane. V splashed Kane's back. V smothered Kane with his mass while locking on a rear chinlock. Striker trashtalked Kane but V caught him by the throat. V rescued Striker. He laid out Kane and then allowed Striker to nail an elbow and attempt several pins. Kane fought back but V beat him into one of the corners. Kane ducked a double clothesline, then nailed an uppercut on V. He went to the top and clotheslined V off the ropes. Striker broke up the pin. Kane grabbed him for a sideslam, but V broke up the pinfall attempt. Kane ducked a V charge and nailed him with a kick to the face, sending him to the floor. Kane chokeslammed Striker and pinned him. V attacked Kane and laid him out after the bell.

ECW opens with Kelly Kelly making her way to the ring.

Kelly Kelly vs. Layla

The bell rings and the pair lock up, Layla taking Kelly down right away and hitting her in the back.

Layla gets Kelly against the ropes and beats on her.

Layla goes for a drop kick and misses completely. Kelly goes after Layla and takes her down with a clothesline.

Layla takes down Kelly and gets yelled at for standing on her hair. Balls comes out to the ring and gets the crowd to make noise for Kelly.

Kelly takes Layla down and goes for the cover.

WINNER: Kelly Kelly

***COMMERCIAL BREAK***

WWE Tag Team champions John Morrison & The Miz vs. Jesse & Festus

As soon as the bell rang, Festus was all ready to fight. Miz and Jesse started out. Festus used a Firearm's carry takeover, but Morrison soon took control. Jesse nailed headscissors coming out of the corner for a two count. He tagged in Festus. Morrison tried to escape and tag Miz, but Miz wanted no part of it. Festus drilled Morrison and splashed him, then slammed his own partner atop of Morrison for another two count.

Morrison fired back with some forearms on Jesse. Miz tagged in, but was caught with a dropkick for a two count. Jesse used a combination headlock and headscissors takeover on the champs. They went to the floor, where Jesse dove off the top rope atop of them. ECW went to commercial. So far, so good.

When we returned the champions worked over Jesse as Festus was dying to tag back into the ring. Miz worked over Jesse in the corner and tagged in Miz, who hit a running boot to the face. Miz made the cover but Jesse kicked out. Morrison kicked Jesse in the head, taking him back down to the mat. Morrison drove Jesse down to the mat and held him down with a side chinlock. Jesse finally evaded the champs and tagged in Festus.

Festus cleaned house, clotheslining Morrison out of the ring and shoulderblocking Miz. He nailed Miz with a Fall Away Slam. They nailed Miz with the Rocket Launcher, but Morrison made the save. Jesse went for a slam, but Miz escaped and ran Jesse towards the ropes. Jesse shrugged him off but Morrison grabbed him and snapped his throat over the ropes. Miz caught him with a rollup as he fell back and scored the pin. I liked the finish. Decent match all the way.

Interesting to note that during the bout, Joey Styles mentioned Matt Hardy's appendectomy surgery, which wasn't even hinted at on Smackdown.

They aired a Kane promo to build the main event.

We get to see a recap of the Edge-Vickie Guerrero angle. So unnerving, but that's the point.

Elijah Burke, in the ring, said that he said he was the man who would change the face of ECW and proved it last week. He introduced Shelton Benjamin, who now has pyro. Burke told Benjamin to tell the fans how good he was. Benjamin said that everyone wants to know what he's doing in ECW. He said he's not here to make friends or to hang around in the back. He said the fans should be thanking Elijah for having the sense to bring the greatest athlete to ever step foot into the squared circle to ECW. He asked what does his entrance mean for Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney and CM Punk. Benjamin says that it means the bar has been raised and declared himself the gold standard. He said it was only a matter of time before he would be ECW champion. It was a good promo until the end, when he said, "Just like the lyrics on my theme song say, 'Ain't No Stopping Me Now' and delivered the lyrics like he was The Rock. The last line felt scripted and forced. The rest was decent. Joey said Shelton would be in action next.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Shannon Moore

Benjamin just bragged he was going to raise the bar in ECW and then he's wrestling a Smackdown guy? Huh? Benjamin took over on Moore quickly, charging him into the corner. Moore fought back with a series of rights. Benjamin snapped him over with a belly to belly suplex. He nailed a T-Bone suplex, then locked on a rear chinlock. Benjamin peppered Moore with a series of rights. He drove an elbow into Moore's head, then worked over Moore's face with the elbow. Benjamin went for a suplex, but Moore escaped and went for a small package, then dropkicked him. Moore took over and whipped Benjamin with a spinkick. Benjamin reversed, but then missed a charge in the corner. Benjamin looked 2 second behind. Moore went for a spinning DDT, but Benjamin nailed his new finisher for the win. Entertaining for what it was.

Big Daddy V (with Matt Striker) vs. Kane: Extreme Rules

They lock up, but V shoves Kane off. He who[s Lane into the corner, but Kane comes back with a clothesline. V doesn't flinch and takes down Kane with one of his own. He begins beating down Kane with clubbing blows to the back. He tosses Kane to the floor, where Striker tries to grab a kendo stick. Kane takes it from him and returns to the ring, beating V with it. V takes Kane down and steps on him.

Kane rolls to the floor. V follows and tries to slam Kane into the stairs. Kane fights him off, then goes under the ring for a pair of trash cans. He goes to grab V, who tosses him into the steps. V beats him with a road sign, then tosses Kane into the ring. V grabs a chair from ringside. He tries to charge Kane with it but is kicked. Kane hits a clothesline.

Kane put the chair across the throat of Big Daddy V like he once did to Shawn Michaels. He went to the apron to climb up, but V got up and knocked him to the floor. He beat Kane outside. Striker pulled a table from under the ring and slid it into the ring.

V set up the table in the corner and pulled Kane over to it. He charged the table and splashed Kane through it. It got the first "ECW" chant I can recall in months. Kane kicked out at two. They showed a closeup of a deep gash in V's forearm. Joey and Tazz used it to put over the danger of the Extreme Rules bouts.

V called for a second table. V tried to pick Kane on his shoulders but Kane escaped. Kane began beating him with the kendo stick but V got it away. Kane grabbed a trash can and nailed V with it. V went down to one knee. Kane teased a chokeslam but Mark Henry attacked him. Kane was drilled with a trash can by V.

Henry and V worked over V with a double running charge, sandwiching him between them. That was awesome. I had visions of King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd. They nailed a double chokeslam through the table and V pinned Kane for the win. It was more entertaining than I expected going in.

Overall, a good show.

ECW for December 11th opened with Joey Styles & Tazz welcoming us to the show and informing us that World Champion Batista would face Elijah Burke and Kelly Kelly would have a handicap match against Layla & Victoria.

ECW Champion CM Punk & Kane vs. Deuce & Domino, with Cherry

As Punk entered, they recapped him being beaten down by Mark Henry & Big Daddy V last week, and Kane making the save. Punk & Kane will face BDV & Henry at Armageddon. Punk locked up with Domino, who shoved Punk. Punk responded with a series of kicks, but Domino hit a kick of his own to the gut. Punk gave Domino a monkey flip as he tagged Kane. Kane hit a shot to the throat and a back elbow, then dropped an elbow for a two count. Punk tagged back in and hit the jumping knee to the corner, then hit a bulldog. Punk set up for a springboard and Deuce tried to stop it but Punk kicked him away. Punk then went for the springboard, but Domino caught him with a knee to the gut.

Deuce tagged in and worked over Punk's midsection with punches and kicks. Deuce hung Punk over the top rope and Domino came off the top rope with a forearm to the back. Domino hit a side backbreaker and then drove several elbows into Punk's gut. Punk came back with some knees to the head while being held in the backbreaker. Domino kept Punk from making a tag, but Punk dodged a bodypress and Domino fell to the floor. Deuce rolled Domino back in, but Punk made the tag to Kane. Kane backdropped Domino and gave Deuce a big boot to the face. Kane clotheslined Domino in a corner twice, then hit a side slam. Kane went to the top rope and hit a clothesline on Domino. Kane called for the chokeslam, but Deuce charged in. Kane choked D&D, then tossed Deuce to Punk. Punk gave Deuce the GTS, while Kane gave Domino the chokeslam and got the pin at the five minute mark.

Winners: CM Punk & Kane

Batista was shown warming up in the back.

Shelton Benjamin did a promo backstage, talking about the Gold Rush and how people would dig and find Fool's Gold. Benjamin said he began to gather real gold when he came to WWE, noting he is a three-time champion. Benjamin said in ECW there is "gold in them thar hills" and that he was going to dig and become the "gold standard" in ECW.

WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore

Moore is now sporting a cowboy hat. Moore started out with Miz, grabbing an arm wringer. Miz yanked Moore to the mat by the face to break it. Miz backed Moore into a corner and shoved him. Moore responded by slapping Miz. Miz threw some punches, then Moore slid under his legs and hit a pair of armdrags. Moore hit a neckbreaker for a two count and tagged in Yang, who nailed a dropkick. Miz hit a knee to the gut and tagged Morrison. Yang kicked Morrison's legs out from under him and hit a backflip splash for a two count. Moore tagged in and gave Morrison a sunset flip for a two count. Moore grabbed an armbar and tagged Yang, who kicked Morrison's arm and applied a hammerlock. Morrison elbowed out of it, then hit an uppercut. Morrison mocked Yang and stomped him, but Yang leapfrogged him and hit an armdrag. Yang locked in an armbar, then tagged in Moore for a double vertical suplex. Moore scored a two count. Moore applied an armbar and tagged in Yang, who kicked Morrison in the arm, then hit a chop. Morrison grabbed Yang by the jeans and sent him head first into the turnbuckle. Yang dodged a charging Morrison, who hit the ringpost, then gave Miz an enzugiri as he ran in. Morrison and Miz fell to the floor, and Moore & Yang hit them with stereo Asai moonsaults as they went to commercial.

Back from break, Morrison had Yang in a variation of the Cobra Clutch. We saw that during the commercial, Morrison had given Yang a Hot Shot to take control. Yang broke out of the Cobra with a back suplex. Yang tagged Moore as Morrison tagged Miz. Moore hit a pair of clotheslines and a spin kick on Miz. Miz reversed a whip, but ran into a Moore elbow. Moore climbed the ropes, but Miz yanked him down to the mat by the hair. Morrison tagged back in and stomped Moore in the back, head and chest. Morrison gave Moore a catapult into the bottom rope. Miz tagged in and jumped over the top rope, snapping Moore's neck on the second rope. Miz applied a neck twist with a half-nelson, but Moore punched and rolled out of it, only to be clipped by a Miz clothesline. Morrison tagged in and he and Miz gave Moore a double face plant. Morrison went for the cover, but Yang broke it up.

Morrison pounded Moore down in the corner, and he and Miz took turns choking him with their boots. Miz pulled Moore into the center of the ring for a two count, but Moore fought back with punches and backdropped Miz. Moore crawled for the tag and Yang hit Morrison with a top rope bodypress. Yang knocked Miz down, then cleaned house, hitting Morrison with a monkey flip and a spin kick. Moore dropkicked Miz to the floor and then hit a dive on him. Yang welcome to the top rope for his moonsault, but Morrsion crotched him. Morrison went for a back superplex, but Yang elbowed him down, then flipped over him from the top rope. Morrison tackled a charging Yang and put his feet on the ropes for a pin, but Moore knocked his feet off. Miz rammed Moore into the ring steps, while Yang rolled Morrison into a crucifix for a two count. As Yang got up, Miz hit him from behind from the ring apron and Morrison hit his flip neckbreaker for the pin at the 14 minute mark.

Winners: John Morrison & The Miz

Layla & Victoria vs. Kelly Kelly

Kelly was put in this match by The Miz, who still owns her contract. Layla & Victoria did a little dance bit as they came out, and held hands as they walked down the aisle. Kelly entered wearing Boston Red Sox gear (yes, they are in Boston). Victoria grabbed Kelly from the apron as the match started, but she elbowed away and gave Layla an elbow as well. Victoria tagged in and beat down Kelly with forearms. Kelly did her tilt-a-whirl headscissors to Victoria, then tried to brawl with Victoria and got a clothesline for her trouble. Victoria slammed Kelly, then tagged in Layla. Layla gave Kelly a legdrop, then threw her to the mat by her hair. Layla stomped Kelly in the back and hit a snap mare. Layla applied an armbar, but Kelly forearmed out of it and hit a clothesline for a one count. Victoria tagged in and kicked Kelly in the gut. Victoria threw Kelly to the mat and tagged in Layla for a legdrop. Victoria threw Layla on top of Kelly for a two count. Victoria held Kelly for Layla, but Kelly ducked and Layla clotheslined Victoria. Kelly gave Layla two clotheslines and threw her by the hair. Kelly gave Layla a suplex, but Victoria broke up the cover. Victoria legally tagged in and gave Kelly a knee to the head. Layla tagged in and Layla spun around and kicked Kelly in the head for the pin at the four minute mark.

Winners: Layla & Victoria

Post-match, Layla & Victoria beat up Kelly until Michelle McCool (who had a bruise under her eye) made the save.

Matt Striker, Mark Henry and Big Daddy V cut a promo about their match at Armageddon. BDV told Kane his "decade of destruction" was over, and Henry told Punk to "run". Striker told Kane & Punk to start worrying, because their end is near.

The Armageddon lineup was reviewed.

World Champion Batista vs. Elijah Burke

After entering the ring, Burke cut a heated promo about how he is the "new face of Extreme" and that Batista would fall to the "Elijah Experience" tonight. They went to break before Batista's entrance. They kept saying it was Batista's first time on ECW. I guess we're not supposed to remember his "classic" with the Big Show. Maybe they mean the first time since the Guerrero-Estrada agreement to trade talent.

They locked up at the bell then traded shots. Batista went for a clothesline, but Burke scooted out of the ring. Batista chased Burke and Burke rolled into the ring and tried to elbowdrop Batista as he got in, but Batista dodged it, pulled Burke to the floor and rammed him into the ring apron and the guard rail. Batista hit Burke with some shoulderblocks from the apron after rolling Burke into the ring. Burke grabbed Batista and rammed him into the ringpost. Burke went on the offense with stomps, and then when Batista battled back Burke dropkicked hit legs out and hit a short DDT. Burke put Batista in a Cobra Clutch. Batista got up, but Burke swept him back to the mat. Batista finally used a spinebuster to escape, then hit a clothesline in the corner and a series of shoulderblocks. Burke leapfrogged Batista and dropkicked him into a corner. Elijah set up for the Elijah Express, but as he charged, Batista turned and hit a spear (apparently hurting his head doing so). Batista planted Burke with a Batista Bomb and got the pin at the four minute mark.

Winner: Batista

They talked about Batista's match with Edge and Undertaker at Armageddon as the show ended.

yeah.. i agree... i dont like ecw either.... its sucks.... they dont even have enough superstarts in the ecw roster that they have to bring smackdown superstars to ecw.... wth.... they should merge ecw and smackdown or something...

They have merged ECW and Smackdown basically. That's why you have ECW stars as the SD tag champs, and constantly see ECW guys on SD and vice versa

Miz and Moore start the match off. The pair lock up and Moore takes Miz down right away for a quick cover. 1 count.

Miz gets to his feet and tags in Morrison. Morrison rolls his eyes and gets in the ring. The pair lock up and Morrison elbows Moore in the face then hits him with an uppercut.

Yang lands a hard chop then gets Miz in the corner. Miz whips Yang across the ring but Yang jumps over Miz and takes him down.

Yang whips Miz into Morrison and knocks him off the apron and then Yang flips Miz over the ropes.

Yang and Moore dive over the ropes at Morrison and Miz.

10:11 – Back from commercial break with Morrison holding Yang in a headlock. Morrison whips Yang into the corner and grabs Yang’s leg keeping him from making the tag.

Yang kicks off Morrison and tags in Moore. Moore takes Morrison down right away and then whips him across the ring and flips him to the mat.

Moore follows up with a neck breaker. Morrison gets Moore in the corner and when the ref is distracted Miz runs at Moore but Moore kicks him off the apron.

Morrison takes down Moore then tags in Miz. Miz slams Moore to the mat then knees him in the face.

Miz flips Moore’s neck into the ropes and goes for the cover. 2 count.

Miz gets Moore in a headlock. Moore punches Miz and flips Miz to the mat to get free. Miz gets up and hits Moore with a dropkick. Miz tags in Morrison.

Miz flips Moore up and Morrison punches him in the face. Morrison gets in the ring and punches Moore repeatedly then goes for the cover. 2 count.

Morrison twists Moore’s arm back and gets him in a submission hold. Moore elbows Morrison in the face. Morrison lets go of Moore and climbs the ropes.

Morrison dives onto Moore, but Moore gets up and hits Morrison with a dropkick. Both men make a tag.

Yang takes Miz down with a footsweep. Miz gets out of the ring and Yang jumps over the ropes onto Miz. Morrison then goes after Yang and Moore takes Morrison out of the ring with a baseball slide.

All 4 men end up outside the ring.

Miz and Yang get back in the ring. Yang jumps off the ropes but Miz catches him and goes for the cover. 2-½ count.

Miz drives Yang towards the ropes and Morrison goes to kick Yang in the head but Yang ducks and Morrison takes out Miz.

Yang capitalizes and goes for the cover.

10:23 – Back from commercial break with Taz in the ring introducing a contest between Shelton Benjamin and Colin Delaney from Rochester, NY.

Taz interviews Colin briefly, asking where he’s from, where he went to school, and if he was nervous. Colin nods and says he is nervous.

Taz then asks what kind of experience he has and Colin says it’s his first match. Taz shrugs and wishes him luck then starts the match.

SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. COLIN DELANEY (sp?)

Shelton flips Colin to the mat then kicks Colin in the ribs.

Shelton grabs Colin by the hair and picks him up. Colin punches Shelton. Shelton kicks him and takes him down. Shelton grabs Colin’s hair and starts screaming at him.

Shelton then picks up Colin and slams his back into the ringpost. Shelton picks up Colin and hits a fantastic inverted bulldog and goes for the cover.

WINNER – SHELTON BENJAMIN

Shelton grabs a mic and yells “Ain’t no stopping me now!”

10:34 – Back from commercial break with Kenny Dykstra making his way to the ring with Victoria.

Nunzio then makes his way to the ring in his elf suit and Santa sack. Nunzio tosses candy canes into the crowd.

KENNY DYSKTRA vs. NUNZIO

The bell rings and Nunzio halts the match to give Kenny a candy cane. Kenny throws it into the ring and goes to kick Nunzio.

Nunzio catches his leg, but Kenny takes him down. Kenny throws Nunzio into the corner then picks him up and hits a vertical Suplex.

Kenny goes for the cover. 2 count. Kenny then kicks away Nunzio’s candy canes and starts punching him.

Kenny flips Nunzio to the mat and gets him in a headlock. Nunzio gets to his feet and elbows Kenny in the gut.

Nunzio uses the ropes to run at Kenny but Kenny flips Nunzio to the mat then stomps on him.

Kenny hits Nunzio with a flying elbow then picks him up and whips him across the ring. Kenny runs at him but Nunzio kicks him.

Nunzio climbs the ropes but Kenny grabs him and slams him to the mat. Kenny then climbs the ropes and nails Nunzio with a leg drop and goes for the cover.

WINNER – KENNY DYKSTRA

They then run an MVP promo.

10:46 – Back from commercial break with MVP making his way to the ring.

MPV gets in the ring and grabs a mic

“Allow me to reintroduce myself. SmackDown’s MVP and the United States Champion. In just a few moments I will face CM Punk in a Champion vs. Champion match.

Punk, you will get a first hand look at why I’m the highest paid person on SmackDown, and why I am better than you”

CM Punk’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

10:52 – Back from commercial break with the match already in progress.

CM PUNK vs. MVP

Punk takes MVP down with a drop toehold and then works on MVP’s arm. They get to their feet and MVP gets Punk into the corner.

MVP takes Punk down and works on Punk’s arm. MVP then flips Punk over and goes for the cover. 2 count.

MVP works on Punk’s arm again and goes for another cover. 2 count.

MVP works over Punk but Punk gets to his feet and sweeps MVP down to the mat. Punk hits MVP with an elbow then picks him up and slams him to the mat getting him into a submission hold.

MVP gets free and gets Punk in a headlock. MVP flips Punk to the mat and locks that headlock in.

Punk gets his legs around MVP’s neck and flips him down. MVP gets free and tries to get Punk into a submission hold but Punk counters and ends up getting MVP in a headlock.

MVP reverses and gets Punk down.

Punk gets to his feet but MVP takes him right back down again. Punk gets his legs around MVP’s neck and takes him down getting him into a submission hold.

MVP tries to flip himself out several times before he finally succeeds. Punk takes MVP down with a kick then goes for the cover. 1 count.

Punk punches MVP then kicks him in the head. Punk runs at MVP but MVP hits Punk with a Suplex.

MVP kicks Punk in the ear then goes for the cover. 2 count. MVP starts punching Punk then gets him in a submission hold.

MVP breaks the hold and kicks Punk. MVP picks up Punk and slams him to the mat then goes for the cover. 2 count.

MVP gets Punk in a headlock again. MVP gets to his feet still keeping the headlock in, but Punk starts punching MVP.

MVP takes Punk down and goes for the cover. 2 count.

MVP starts slapping Punk in the head. Punk gets to his feet and punches him. Punk whips MVP into the ropes and goes for a dropkick but MVP holds onto the ropes then goes for the cover. 2 count.

MVP starts working on Punk’s arm again. Punk gets to his feet and starts punching MVP. MVP takes Punk down with a bulldog then goes for the cover. 2 count.

MVP goes for another cover right away. 2 count.

MVP starts kicking Punk then picks him up and starts punching him. MVP takes Punk down with another punch.

MVP grabs Punk and gets him into a modified camel clutch.

Punk struggles to get up and ends up picking up MVP then slamming him to the mat to break the hold.

Both men struggle to their feet and Punk elbows MVP in the head. MVP kicks Punk then picks him up but Punk wiggles free.

Punk kicks MVP then follows up with a knee to the jaw. Punk goes for the cover. 2 count.

Punk hits MVP with a knee to the head then a bulldog. Punk jumps off the ropes onto MVP and goes for the cover. 2 count.

MVP drives Punk into the corner and the pair exchange punches. Punk kicks but misses. MVP flips Punk to the mat and goes for a cover. 2 count.

Punk kicks MVP then climbs the ropes. MVP knocks him off the ropes. Punk gets stuck in the ropes and MVP starts kicking him.

The ref breaks them up. MVP gets back in there and starts punching Punk. The ref counts to 5 but MVP does not stop.

WINNER – CM PUNK via Disqualification.

MVP moves away, stalking Punk. MVP runs across the ring and hits Punk with a high knee. MVP gets out of the ring and heads backstage.

Chavo Guerrero suddenly comes out of nowhere and takes down Punk. Chavo picks up Punk and slams him to the mat.

Chavo grabs Punk by the hair and leads him around the ring then hits him with the three amigos.

Chavo climbs the ropes and nails Punk with a frog splash, then taunts CM Punk.
