can i use skype on any pda, which also supports

wireless phone services? Thanks you for your answers. A/c to skype we need atleast 400Mhz pocket pc. Today I checked to see if there is any pocket pc that is atleast 400Mhz and also has wirelss phone service like cingular or verizon. I was disappointed to find out that there are only two pocket pc's (one is samsung and the other hp ipaq) that has cingular wireless plan. However, both of these pocket pcs are less than 400Mhz, which is the minimum requirement for skype. This is very weird because technology is available to support both regular wireless and skype on the same pda, yet the companies have choosen the configuration that doesn't allow the consumer to have both skype and regular wirless phone service on the same pda. I wonder what's taking skype to write a software to support on Palm OS or for that matter any OS other than windows mobile OS.

No; Skype will only work on a phone that has high speed Internet access, which is almost none in North America. If your phone has 802.11 network access (like the iMate JASJAR for example) then you may be able to install Skype on it and run it.

well I have an IPAQ 6315 ... and I think that the processor speed is around 200Mhz .. and Skype kinda sucks on it ... if there r other programs running on the pda, it freezes sometime ...So .IMO .. A fast processor is important .....
