The Megaupload site will start with a 45 second timer
counting down in the upper right hand corner.
Just before the 45 seconds is up a "Flash" ad will drop down and block the view.

Close the ad by clicking the X in the "Megaupload Links" nag box's upper right hand corner.
The box where the counter was will then display "Click here to download" .
Click in that box which then will change to say "Loading download" and wait for a Windows (or other operating system) dialog box to pop up on your screen that prompts you to download the file with a selection to "Open", "Save" or "Cancel" button. Click the "Save" button and then the download will begin.

Your Internet Browser should provide an indicator while the Megaupload site is doing its "Loading download" function. The Internet Browser should show something like this:

This shows the web address that megaupload is retrieving the file from. It also has a bar graph or progress bar to indicate something is happening.

Earlier, while I was checking to see if the Megaupload site was working it took about 10 minutes (perhaps longer) before the "Open", "Save" or "Cancel" button popped up for me for some reason. Usually it works almost instantly; often it requires patience.
Some files take longer for Megaupload to load into their "Loading download" system. To me, the length of the wait appears it is possibly related to the files demand level.
The Megaupload site only allows 1 (maybe 2) downloads at a time from an IP address. The site blocks more attempts than that.

DOWNLOADING TIPS for Rapidshare.de:

Unlimited Rapidshare Downloads

Using the Rapidshare server, one may download only a specified amount of files per hour. However, because downloads are tracked by an IP address, one may change their IP address, thus downloading as often as one would like. In most cases, an IP address is assigned directly by one's ISP. Here are the steps necessary in changing the IP address:

1. Clean up your cookies; remove them based on instructions from the browser being used. This is done in the case that one or more cookies may belong to Rapidshare.
   
2. On Command Prompt type the following:
   
   • ipconfig /flushdns (Press Enter)
     
   • ipconfig /release (Press Enter)
     
   • ipconfig /renew (Press Enter)
     
   • exit (Press Enter)
3. As a second option, one may save these commands in a .bat file. Then, run it everytime one need to use the Rapidshare server.
   
4. Remember to clean up all Rapidshare cookies in your temp Internet Files folder upon redoing the commands or rerunning the .bat file
   

This should solve the problem; the browser should be ready to download as many files as you want from their server. Notes about how the commands work:

• ipconfig /flushdns - Purges the DNS resolver cache
  
• ipconfig /release - Releases all matching connections
  
• ipconfig /renew - Renews all adapters
  
• exit - Exits

THIS "cheat" for RAPIDSHARE DOWNLOADS eliminates the "WAITING" for the file.
No more COUNTDOWNS. So heres what you do:

1. First, Find a rapidshare download.
2. Hit the FREE BUTTON, like always.
3. While your waiting for it to countdown, change the URL in the bar to:

and hit ENTER or the GO button over and over. Eachtime you do so, it decreases 10-20 seconds. Few times and the link appears.
or you can simply do the code below ONCE
javascript: for (i=0; i<30; i++) { c(); }

Inorder to avoid the 1 hour wait between downloads when using rapidshare, here's what you do...

1. Run command prompt (Start>Run>cmd)
2. Type in ipconfig/flushdns
3. Restart your internet

It has been tested for Microsoft Windows XP Pro. Not sure about other operating systems, but if yours is different, and if it works, please leave a short msg in the reply.
