Some methods to speed up your IE 7 (I havn't tried it myself because I use firefox, but found it useful to share with everyone, TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK)
- Method 1
Before you start take back up of your registry.
Start -> Run -> regedit -> right click to My Computer -> Export and save it.- Save this text in notepad with ".reg" extension! And merge it.

There is two reg keys! Delete this one:

- Save this text in notepad with ".reg" extension! And merge it.

- If you use modem then do as follows:
Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> [modem and modem model] -> Double click on default modem -> Modem -> Maximum port Speed (put on max)
Method 2:
Turn off Phishing Filter in IE 7
Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced
Near the bottom of the list of options, it has a Phishing heading and 3 options. Set it to "Turn off automatic web site checking".
Alternatively you can download and apply IE7 Phishing Filter Speedup Patch. M*cro$oft has released patch for IE7 that speeds up the built-in phishing filter, which otherwise can slow down your web surfing. It can be downloaded from here

Method 3
Try to launch IE7 without add-ons. It’s much faster without add-ons.You can launch IE7 without add-ons by:
Right click IE icon on desktop and select Start without add-ons.
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

You can speed up browsing by good use of temp files. Go to IE options -> General -> Temporary internet files -> Settings
there are 4 options for "check newer versions of stored files" check to "never". This speeds up browsing drastically. whenever you want apage updated just press refresh. It helped me a lot atleast
