First of all i like to say that i know we have a separate section for tutorials . but i think it make sence that we shud have a tutorial is this ssection to guide ppl how to use certain software . plz dun romve that link ( mods & admin )
Tutorial
I am making this thread for those people who wanted to make themes but they have no option to find the theme making skill.
I am posting the whole screenshots in 1024 X768 res. Because of the theme studio runs on this res well.
So men start making themes and become a theme artist.

I am making this tutorial on Theme studio version 1.21
For starting you need a version of Adobe Photo Shop above 7

Now after installation open the theme studio and the screen below will be appeared. For starting a new theme click on the circled buttons.




And now this dialog box is appeared.
You can now write the theme name, Author name, areas which you want to include in the theme.

After doing all the work in the dialog box click on the ok button in the dialog box.


And then you will find a screen like this. You need a background of the resolution of 176 X 208. By clicking on the number 1 dialog box you can show the side bar bigger. ANd than click on the number 2 circled buttons to show the componentes* , Themes* , Browser.
And using browser tab you can select the background to use in the theme as shown in the screen shot above.

*Componentes : These are things which you have used in the previous themes.
*Themes : these are the themes which are in your theme studio and also those which you made previously.

Now you need to click on the Areas on the left side in the circled button.
And than you need a 176 X 44 res image to make a status area background.
As shown in the screenshot. [I have selected the same image like background.]
And also you can edit it with Adobe Photo Shop by clicking on the lower circled Edit button.
If the edit button says you anything alse and not opening the PhotoShop than select the phott Shop,s exe starter file where it is installed.


Now you can click on the second box on the left side of the edit box.[circled by box no 1]
Now you can change the nave pane background.
Note : The solid is in circle 2 and wipe is in circle 3 so you have to change them two and solid is appeared in the idol screen of theme and the wipe is appeared in the menu view.
You need the 176 X 15 pixels image.


Now click on the list column button and make this.
Now you have to learn about the sizes of things you need.
See the later posts you will find a post there that what are the sizes of all things are to be select in theme.
Now you can selsct all the list columns by using this technic.
And control area is is also like this.


Now you have to attach icons here.
Keep on clicking and selecting them in the circled buttons of the icons of apps.
A theme pack will be posted here of this theme which is visible in theme. You shall see all the things that are used in a theme and you can see which resolutions are used.


THEN you have to select the high lights there.
As shown in scr shot the high lights are visible.
High lights are in the gallery and settings in the phone

You can preview all things which you are making in theme by clicking on the preview circled button.


Now you have to make pop up windows in theme.
These are shown in the screen shot.


Now click on the this and that here you can change the volume indicators , Signal and battery, and all you are seeing in the screen shot.


Tabs are also known to change and also all know that better tabs are always needed in a theme.
SO edit them in Photo Shop and make them beautiful.


Now in the applications menu you can change the clock, idle background , clock, settings view, calendar view and goto view.
You will need more images to make them.

Now you have to change the colors of text and some small icons because these will be disappeared if there is a black text over a black background of theme.


YOu can also change the sounds but they are not often used in themes.

And now by clicking on the Check Out you can check and edit your theme again and click on the continue button to make the theme sis and change some more things.


Now complete and chnge all what you want here and click ok and your theme is crated.
