ISLAMABAD: Federal Petroleum Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has categorically stated that Pakistan Muslim League (N) as well as Pakistan Peoples Party are very much committed in restoration of judges and making them functional. Talking to Geo Program "Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Saath" he said that though the given time frame of 30 days is passing speedily and they have only 5 days left yet they are very much optimist about solving this issue amicably. "There are still five days left and the issue is not such a big one that could not be solved in five days. It can be solved in one day. But it is a fact that we could not give any good news in 25 days", he said. However he said that one thing is for sure that both the parties are serious and sincere in solving this matter and that is why they are pretty much confident in solving this issue. He expressed the hope that within the deadline the concerned committee would reach a decision regarding restoration of judges and making them functional. Khawaja Asif said that next five days could prove very crucial stating that he was sure that "the problem could be solved in 5 hours". Replying a question he said that, "We are of the view that judges could be restored with only a simple resolution or with an executive order and no strings attached to their restoration". He rejected the notion saying that there should not be any doubt about judges'' restoration or their functions and stated that there is no such thing as minus one or minus two formula.
