ISLAMABAD: The British government will provide Pakistan with 30 million pounds as budgetary support. The British High Commissioner in Islamabad Robert Brinkley said this during a meeting with Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. Brinkley said aid given to Pakistan would be raised to 480 million pounds after a period of 3 years and a number of ongoing socio-economic projects between the two countries would continue during next 10 years. Aid given by the British government would be utilized in areas like Poverty Alleviation, Economic Stability, Education and Health. Ishaq Dar thanked the British government for extending the aid to Pakistan.
