KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar said MQM will not sit idly at the killing of two workers and would resort to every possible way to protest. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Farooq Sattar said the apprehensions earlier expressed by MQM were proved right, adding the attack on MQM workers in Landhi is open terrorism. He said at least 11 MQM workers have been killed in the past couple of days and the armed terrorists have been unleashed to spoil the peace in the city. MQM deputy convener said peace in Karachi will bring the prosperity in the country, voicing the resolve that MQM will rout those with ulterior motives. On this occasion, he demanded the arrest of miscreants who opened firing at Bilawal House. Farooq Sattar appealed to President Musharraf, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad to arrest the assassins of MQM workers in Landhi.
