1 - Title of your request should say what you requesting. Don't put title like "I need Help", be little descriptive. e,g How to install windowxp. Then in the body of the thread you can describe in as much detail as you can what is it you need help with. Threads without proper title will be fixed, once only. Subsequent violation will result in thread being trashed and an infraction might be issued.

2 - Give us details as much as you can. I get help requst like, BIOS not working, that alone doesn't tell us what is the problem so if you need answers please provide details. For example, a good idea is to provide ur system detail, wat kinda pc, processor etc


3 - Once you have gotten what you need be kind and say thanks. Someone took time to solve your problem least you can do is say thanks. If you don't thank in future people won't be inclined to help you. So be nice and say thanks. Also it will be nice to know if the solution worked for you so come back and with thanks add if it worked or not so next person in need can benefit.

4 - Once you have submitted your help request, you can't remove it. Anyone found doing it will be given infraction right away. Do it twice and you are banned. If u had made a mistake reply to your thread explaining why you don't need further help. Even when help has been provided to you DONOT remove your original question as someone else might have same problem and would benefit from replies.

5 - Before asking for help look at the section your question might have been answered already. Check our tutorial sections that has lot of step by step tutorials. 6 - Tell something about how familiar you are troubleshooting computers. This will help us in replying accordingly. An example is, if you only know where control panel is and nothing beyond, then it means we need to tell u from start but if u already know where the device manager is, then most of the basic steps can be skipped and it will save your a lot of time of you as well as of the person helping you. In short, on a level of 1-5, mention you level of knowledge of computers (with 1 being least and 5 highest).
