well latif knew that he had dropped the catch but in this case its really hard to jugde weather u have caugt the ball or not...........

i dont consider this as cheatin its just a mistake and could have happend for any1

Yeah when its a pakistani it has to be cheating, Umpire tot it was out dhoni should have said no he was after all watching the ball all the time thats how he was able to catch it. I hereby declare Dhoni a cheat, same way Rashid Lateef & Ian healy were cheat

I dont agree with you... It's easier to say these things when watching on tv but when wearing the gloves its not as simple as that. Though saying that it looks like he had a clear enough view of the ball and probably shouldn't have appealed.

Rashid Latif dropped a catch and then picked it up if my memory is correct. so that was definately a cheat. But when it comes to dhoni.. its totally different.. what i said earlier it was hard to judge for even umpire.. he gave him out even there was no hiding.. clear view for the umpire..

wait a second! something strange has been going on nowdays in Cricket... i have never heard of this before that after you have been given out n the finger goes up, the batsmen is coming back to bat. i thought it was against the rules for this to happen n now its going to cause alot of problems were batsmen will have more authority than the umpires.

Even I think on other hand Dhoni must be knowing it bounced.

But then many a times we have bowlers who appeal for LBW despite clearly knowing ball pitched outside the leg stump. So how should one differentiate these two cases?
Sounds same isn't, but ironically if batsman is ruled out by umpire, in first case it's fielder/ keeper who's considered to be big cheat whereas in second case it's umpire who gets the most of the stick!
Double standards?

i remember rashid latif and that catch. damn he was such a cheater but here i would say dhoni didn't know it was hard to decide. But in case of rashid he clearly dropped it and than again he picked it up again.
