Thats the islands that govt is trying to privatize. One has to be an idiot to say no to the developement. One has to be equally idiot to not know the cost of that developement. If opposition charges are true then this is treason where govt is selling Pakistan land without the cnsent of ppl to foriegners. But thats another debate. Lets look at it from the practical point of view. What would it do to citizens. Wat benefit will they recieve, looking at the plans only rich will be able to afford it, so basically one more residential scheme for rich who already have a lot. Y not govt save this money and spent on infrastructure that is badly needed in the country. Hell look at the transport look at the roads in khi education. Money that can be spent wisely here. U can argue that Pak Govt is not spending the money but the pvt company is then what the company is gaining? profits at wat cost? who will own that. R we making another dubai. No law of the land a hub for money. Bottom line this project we can do without.
