First up we have...Recently, actor John Abraham had a scene with a man who was beating up a dog on the road

John Abraham's love for animals is pretty well-known. Recently, John stepped in to save a dog who was being hit at by a man.
A couple of days ago, John was travelling from his Bandra home to Andheri, when he saw a man hurling stones at a dog at the Four Bungalows signal. John immediately got down from his car and had got into an argument with the man.
 John AbrahamNeedless to say, the man was, at first, awestruck by John and continued to stare at the actor. When John asked him for an explanation, he clarified saying that he was doing so because the dog was dirtying the road. Our source says, "John calmly explained to him that many people, too, dirty the roads. Does that mean they deserve to be hit? He also told the man that just because these poor animals can't fight back, people mustn't hit them. John spoke to the man for about seven-eight minutes."
The man, our source reveals, was later contrite. "The man apologised. Once John was sure that the man would not hit the dog any more, he got back into his car. Some onlookers had also gathered there. John shook hands with them too."

Salman Khan is working hard on the look of his wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London

Madame Tussauds is indeed happening for Salman Khan. The actor , who flew into the city yesterday morning after shooting for Subhash Ghai's Main Yuvraj in Austria, is working on the look of his wax statue with his friends. If sources are to be believed, a team of artists and designers from Madame Tussauds will be heading to the actor's residence at Galaxy Apartments later this week to take the necessary measurements. While the actor does not mind having a shirtless replica, the museum authorities want him to appear in a suit.
 A source close to the actor informs, “Earlier, Salman was not ready to have a wax statue. But now that he is geared to have a wax statue installed at the world-famous museum, he is taking a keen interest as far as the look of his statue goes. The shirtless look paired with torn denims represents his true self. But the museum’s management wants him to pose in a suit albeit from his own wardrobe.”
The actor is consulting his sister Alvira Agnihotri for the costumes that his wax figure will sport. A pair of denims from his wardrobe will also go to the museum.
Coming to his 'lucky bracelet', the actor intends to place an order for it, too. The silver bracelet embedded with a firoza stone is a popular accessory in the Khan family. Not too long ago, Salman gifted a similar bracelet to younger brother Arbaaz Khan.
His father, Salim Khan, has also been seen wearing a similar bracelet in the past.
Salman's spokesperson informs, “Contrary to reports, Salman is quite comfortable with the idea of having a wax figure. Madame Tussauds’s crew members will soon fly down to take his measurements and hair samples. ”
The wax statue will be unveiled at the museum in January 2008.

Walking the ramp is not the easiest thing to do.” “But Shah Rukh, you can do it.” “I can do it too….” This was the refrain as Shah Rukh Khan walked the runway on Tuesday evening, as a promotional exercise for his forthcoming film, Om Shanti Om. SRK was anything but calm before the final show. Naturally, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Rampal made full use of the opportunity to mentor SRK.
Once on the ramp, sporting retro shirts with optic prints, bell-bottoms and chunky belts, the OSO stars started out with mimicking Rajesh Khanna. While Shreyas was comfortable with his '70s hairstyle, Arjun did not seem too happy with his moustache. Even before he took a bow and left the stage, our shutterbug caught him yanking off his moustache.

Shah Rukh Khan had the women drooling as he took off his jacket. He even did an impromptu jig ala Michael Jackson style, as wife Gauri Khan and her friends Maheep Kapoor, Neelam and Bhavna Pandey cheered him on. Sister Shehnaz was also seated in the front row.
Meet the parents
With Shah Rukh Khan out and about, Karan Johar cannot be far behind. KJo, who has designed Shah Rukh's clothes along with his assistant Shiraz Siddique, came with mommy Hiroo Johar. Prakash Padukone and wife came to cheer daughter Deepika too. Arjun's wife, Mehr Jessia got her parents along too.
Bump-er
All is well between Farah Khan and Sajid Khan. Contrary to reports about their differences, the chubby siblings stuck to each other throughout the evening. Later, when she walked the ramp, Farah was horrified by the animated moves of SRK and Shreyas lest her bump get a blow.

Last but not thr least...Eijaz Khan will play the lead in Dharmesh Darshan's next, Bhanvraa - Love and Aggression

Dharmesh Darshan is set to make a big banner film called Bhanvraa - Love and Aggression with Eijaz Khan in the lead. The film which has a budget of 15 crores will be the perfect launch pad for the four television stars Manav Gohil, Sangeeta Ghosh and Shveta Salve and, of course, Eijaz. Dharmesh who is into numerology has named the movie in keeping with his lucky numbers.
Eijaz who was last seen playing the male protagonist Kavya in Kavyanjali is taking a break from television to try out his luck in films.
The film will be typical of Dharmesh Darshan's feel-good romances and will be extensively shot in Australia, Canada, Goa and Jaipur. The project is all ready for take off with lavish sets in Filmistan. The shooting will start by mid October.
Dharmesh says, “It is an intense, contemporary love-story. I wanted to take television actors who were experienced. I preferred to take television actors because I wanted bulk dates. But I myself don't watch much television. However, I am very excited about this film as it is my first venture into production.”
He also says, “Eijaz is very diligent, with acting skills of the calibre of Amir Khan . He completely fits the character I have in mind.”
Eijaz has earlier done blink-and-you-miss-it roles in Dhai Akshar Prem Ke and Just Married as well as a cameo role in Meerabai Not Out.
When contacted, Eijaz said, “ Yes, I am doing the film. This is my first big banner film and they will have a proper press conference to make the announcements.”
