Should Eng and other teams come to Ind to play?
With England team back at home the future of test series is in jeopardy. Should England come back and play the test series or should they not.
Terrorism has become part of everyday life in Ind, Pak and SL. Crime is rampant in SA, Pak players were attacked and mugged in SA. Everyone know the situation in Zimbabwe. London is on the target list and has been a victim of terrorism during IRA days till 80;s yet team played there, recently 7/11 tube blasts and then other attacks yet teams go to london and play test. Steve Waugh recently said when ur number is up its up dun matter where u r. The problem of terrorism won't be fixed in One day, Unlike SL and Pak, India is huge and thus can provide more venues to held cricket. Specially in times of such tragedy it is my view that it is imperative that teams come and play in Ind. I would like to see same for Pak and SL. But I am realistic enuff to know that dun matter the situation they will never come to Pak. So be it but Ind case should be different from Pak and teams should visit India.
What do u guys think?

well i say if ind doesnt tour pak, then pak shouldnt tour india..
i agree india is a huge place but it's important for ind to tour pak..

i agree with maax..england will most probably come back..but at this moment of crisis...indian government has to let the team go to pakistan....otherwise its a win for terrorists..

i agree with u bro, most importantly we have to understand one thing that these extremists yes they call the m selves muslims but any one who takes the life of an innocent human isn't a muslim first thing. second of all if we begin to give in to these butchers of humanity they will just keep on going until they end up causing ww3 which to me i guess wil be the end of the world. INDIA and PAK both will have to work hard to stay together keep their cool and deal with them as strongly as possible. now as far as cricket is concerned i love the suggestion of wasim akram who said that pakistan should go to india and play a test match to send a clear and cut message. we have fought each other for 60 years we should start to thing seriously about peace. |

if it help pêrsuade anyone to come to india pak should be dispatched right away to play exhibition game, I have np, but the time period is short and pak playing in india wouldn`t effect england decision making. But it shouldn`t be contingent of Ind coming to Pak. That is tit for tat, if its a gesture of good will then it has nothing to do with wat u get in return.
Personally I think both teams should just play on neutral venues if at all, I think we need a break from each other

We all know that if there is going to be a break...it will be a long one..it wont just be this series..and it will also affect other relationships between the countries...cricket surely brings the country together...its not just about the security of players..but the government's decision...i hope the Indian government gives a go ahead to the tour..and then there are security checks...i know no series is no series...but still..at least the government shouldnt say that india is not touring because of diplomatic relationships and all...
and anyways...pakistan is just as safe as india..
the idea from akram is awesome...would be great if it happens..but it won't...and england will come back anyways...unless there some other attack now..

I don't know about other teams, but India should not let England come and not go there as well. They want presidential security, that much security even Indian president doesn't get, who are these ppl?
Also India has plenty of other security issues to take care of at this moment rather than provide security to people who have forgotten what had happened few years back in their own country in their own backyards. I say boycott them and not invite them either, let them play in their own country or in "safe" countries with no money at all. One day they are going to come knocking at BCCI doors again when they run out of money.
The famous saying "bhonke wale kutte kaatte nahi hai" -> let's see what breed these are.

I agree on the point that india sshould be ussing it resources on something else instead of providing presidential level security to visiting cricket players. That said dun matter when teams return they will be proovided the security that is now been considered for eng team. like it or not this will be the case, Pak provided presidential level security to indians and every team that has visited u can't fight perception so if cricket has to go on in ind that will be the price.
as for money, dude if teams stop coming back to india then revenue will dry up, its not like all the money in cricket is ocming from BCCI domeestic competetions. global world baby we all need each other no matter how much we dislike each other lolz |
