Has Ganguly been treated right by BCCI?

Ganguly dada has not been included in the Rest of India squad, which hinted he is not gonna be included in the test squad. Also indian cricket sites reporting that when Dada contacted selectors to inquire about the future was told he wouldn't be considered in any future test series basically letting him know to retire. Now I totally agree with the BCCI and selectors on need to change the test squad and time to bring in new guys and phase out the seniors who are clearly reaching the end of thier carreer. But compare to Dravid, Sachin and Laxman, Gangu dada has been in the better form since 2006 season. Granted he didn't do good against SL but he was the MOM in last series against SA and Man of series agianst Pak. Should Dada retires yes, defintly but he should be given a farewell test and a deserving farewell. Dada has brought most of the new guys, have made the Indian team a fighting machine, surely he deserve better then this.

If he dun due to his form then how abt Dravid and Sachin? Wat you guys think?

I know ppl wouldnt belive this but cyb ur right deepending on the form he is doing the best out of the seniors and belevive or not if the selectors have picked ue to form then its none other than the great tendulkar who should be out. If u calculate averages over the last 3 series or from 2007-08 season tendulakr has been scoring the least runs

Re: Has Ganguly been treated right by BCCI?

that is my point I am not saying kick sachin out or dravid or anyone esp sachin he is so close to break a record and need to be in but the least they could have done was to not kick him out saying its the form, and i think he deserve a farewell test after that dump him I dun care as it is right thinking of phasing out and bringing in new players

I would give dada one last chance to prove agaisnt australia because thts the best team so it can give selectiors a chance to see if dada should continue or not?

Re: Has Ganguly been treated right by BCCI?

well...the selector's will probably wanna give ganguly a farewell test...but they cant announce it...if dada announces that this aussie series will be his last then the selectors will select him...but he isnt doing that..he wants to play for a longer time..and thats why the selectors have done that...yes i agree...sachin (except for aus series) and dravid havent really been performing in tests...but..its just form...i bet that on indian pitches..against a weakened aus attack...the seniors will score lots...i am just hoping that the new selection committee selects dada.
