they are not using it properly..i never knew that they arent going to use snicko and hotspot..didnt the software people say that hot-spot is the most accurate of their softwares,.then why dont they use that? ..and why doesnt the third umpire give final decision...its a good step..just needs a bit of changes..

I agree with you on the part that once referred the decision should be taken by 3rd umpire and not the on-field umpire as the on-field umpire doesn't get a visual replay of what happened but only an audio of whether the ball was legal, whether it pitched in line and whether it hit in line and how far down was the batsman. This doesn't really give an exact visual of whether the batsman was out or not.

I agree with both of you. If you are going to use technology then you should use all the technology that is available not just hawk eye. They should also use snicko and hotspot.

LBW should only be referred to check if bat is involved. Rest should be left on the onfield umpire as he is the best man for the job. once again hawkeye is approximation only thus is useless.

haw eye is seriously useless agree with you cyborg... It does not give you accuracy...Snicko meter hot spot should be used.. if we technology why not use it??
