Should cricketer be allowed to play anywhere ahead of National team's duty? Vote now

SriLanka Cricket board has allowed its players to take IPL over england tour. PCB has said National tour comes before IPL. England now moving to create EPL. Then there is 20/20 champions league ala English Premier League. I am from old school I think test cricket is the best and 20/20 is just not cricket its basically entertainment. In countried like Pakistan, India, Srilanka and Bangladesh its actually goverment money i.e tax payers money that enables these players to play Cricket. Most players who get high paid jobs in IPL have gotten there beacuse of fame that they earned playing for national teams. Its the Nation that has make it possible for these nobodies to be become famous and earn millions. So the question is should National duty comes first or every player can decide where they wana play? Vote and share your thoughts.

Re: Should cricketer be allowed to play anywhere ahead of National team's duty? Vote

i love test cricket....its still the best i guess...but i dont hate 20/20...and its just another form of the game....even odi cricket fans always said test cricket is boring etcc....now 20/20 fans saying the same..so tests will keep on going...and will still have huge supports...

as far as national team is concerned..ofcourse!!!...u gotta play for your national team!...i am not sure...but i think sri lankan board is working on changing the dates....no way they will send their b team to england..!...though pcb has said it....the matches are to be played with the aussies..the aussies wont let the dates be fixed at the time of ipl....and i dont freaking want EPL...isnt IPL enough! ..get icc to recognize it..and change the name..if thats wut will make these boards happy...no way man..i dont know wut to say...but no more leagues!

In my opininon obvious Nation Team comes first

You come in to cricket for one reason, and that's to paly for your national team but not to play anywhere you want. So national team first
