dhoni..wasn't an iconic captain..he wasnt icon players..

icon players were - sachin, saurav, dravid, sehwag, yuvraj

sehwag has done good job..

dravid has tried his best..you cant blame him...the team itself sucks...

dada...big fan of dada...but yea he hasn't performed..however..dada is known for comebacks..i wouldnt be surprised if he gets his team into semis..

yuvi - one player who shouldnt be captain..i dont even understand why he is vice-captain of indian team...he isn't captaincy material..

sachin - hasnt played...cant be judged..even though pollock has done well..you cant say sachin wouldnt have been able to do it...

and anyways...this was first time of IPL..and icon players were to attract the crowds....if you watched any of MI's matches..(played in dy patil)....the loudest cheers by the crowds were made when sachin came on big screen..the crowd erupted...

I think there will be changes in future.......and anyways..even now....the franchises have option to change captain....it's just cuz the players are too big to be changed.....i think when sachin returns..(i.e. next game.)..pollock might still stay as captain...anyways...according to me....its no big deal.....laxman denied iconic status so that his franchise could save money and buy better players....but he was still made captain.......

and who is to judge most eligible person? say next year ponting plays whole tournament...is he better captain then dada? there will be different options.....lol..i dont know wut i have written....i am confused myself...hope i have confused you guys as well

For me no one other Great Warne has stood up to the challenge of captaincy . They way he lead the team every labelled as underdog is quite astonishing and remarkable in itself . other then him i think dhoni is doing good but other then him all other sucks great deal and making to many errors . So over all my answer is BIG NO .

regarding performance of captain i think every single one has done their job except dravid and laxman
