Thread: Is this the biggest defeat in Pakistan's cricket history ?

I think between 83 -96 pakistan was so dominate, they didnt lose any match except in the world cup. After 96, it seems like India has become more domnate over pakistan which is quite sad, we have all these big name players, I dont know why cannot they contribute.

Yes this is the worst loss ever.... worse that 96 world cup... this was Pakistan vs India in the FINAL of the 20/20 World Cup... man this is a sad day... that Misbah-ul-Haq shot will never be forgotten... imagine how he feels..... he played good and inshallah he will stay on team.. we need to drop Afridi he completely blew it.....

To be honest though I'm disappointed this is a defeat I think I'm gonna get over pretty quickly...there are defeats from years ago which still rankle but this one will be forgotten by the time the next test starts. Good fun while it lasted and great effort from the boys but there are bigger challenges ahead....

aoa we all r very sad at this moment but pakistani players player played really good cricket when this tournament started no body has ever imagined that pakistan will come in the finals this is a big achievement to come in the finals even.cricket is a funny game u loose u win.this is also not acceptable to loose against india but what we can do." nothing" really good cricket from misbah and one poor thinking on his part and shot took the world cup from our hand.but just relax and think positive for the future for pakistani cricket.Boys worked hard and fought hard.the credit should be given to them and insha ALLAH pakistan will win in near future.PAKISTAN ZINDABAD.

good contest, India were fav n no one tot Pak wil even reach the finals, just b4 matches started shoaib was lost we came with brand new bowler, that the match came this close speaks volumes, last shot from misbah could have easily gone either way, as for win India desereved the win as they were the better team at the day.
I dun know abt worst loss, Pak was in the finals and lost by only 5 runs. And is not that pakistan lost without a fight so good show Pak dun matter if u win or loose wat matters is that u show the fight. The worst loss pakistan suffered was froim Ireland in WC come to think didn't BD beat India in WC too:P l;olz

i can say 1 thing pak never defeated india in world cup and the history is still going on.. but i do not really think pakistan played bad.. shots played were bad but bowling was overall good
